Chelsea fans’ preferred lineup against Arsenal: To Palmer or not to Palmer, that is the question

The weather’s getting cold and frightful outside, but the big question facing Chelsea for today’s showdown at the Emirates, is whether to make it Cold on the pitch as well. Cole Palmer has been declared fit and available after two months out, and the temptation will surely be to throw him right back in.

Will Enzo Maresca give in to such temptation? We’ll see. I doubt it. But he surely will be torn, at the very least, just like the WAGNH Community were torn in this weekend’s lineup vote.

Nearly half the respondents, over 43 per cent voted for Palmer to start … which turned out to be almost enough to get him the nod. He just misses out by a couple points in favor of Alejandro Garnacho (45%).

The rest of the people’s choice is a much more straightforward affair, with all defenders and midfielders getting at least 90 per cent (the goalkeeper, too!), and the rest of the attack carrying a solid majority as well.

Liam Delap (35%), Malo Gusto (32%), and Andrey Santos (20%) were the only other players to score in the double-digits.
