MORGANTOWN, W. Va – (KMID/KPEJ) – The No. 5 Texas Tech Red Raiders shut out the West Virginia Mountaineers 49-0 to go to its first Big 12 Championship game in program history.
Offense ruled the day, totaling 572 yards on the Mountaineers. Quarterback Behren Morton was efficient, throwing for 310 yards and three touchdowns. Wide receiver Caleb Douglas was just as efficient, as he had 127 yards and two touchdowns on five catches. The Red Raiders are going to the Big 12 Championship next week, they will face No. 11 BYU next Saturday at AT&T Stadium. Kickoff is scheduled for 11 a.m. and can be watched on ABC Big 2.
