ESPN college football reporter Marty Smith spent a very long time at Ole Miss on Saturday, waiting on Lane Kiffin to make up his mind on his coaching future.
While all the arrows pointed to Kiffin joining LSU to be its next football coach, the indecision on whether or not he could coach Ole Miss through the College Football Playoff seemed to have held things up on a final call.

Smith seemed absolutely ready to go to bed during a late Saturday SEC Network update on the Kiffin situation, revealing his absolutely hysterical plea to the Ole Miss coach via text.
“Will there be a resolution tonight? Please God in Heaven tell me yes," Smith said he texted Kiffin to no answer.
Smith spoke (and texted) eloquently for all the college football fans who just want to know what Kiffin is doing before bedtime.
