The Georgia Bulldogs will be without several starters and key contributors for the Saturday, Nov. 22 home game against the Charlotte 49ers. Georgia's most recent injury came to All-American middle linebacker CJ Allen, who suffered a knee injury in Georgia's 35-10 win over Texas.
"He'll be week to week and see when we can get him back," Georgia coach Kirby Smart said on Allen. Without Allen, the Bulldogs still have a lot of talent at linebacker, but Allen is not replaceable and is projected to be a first-round pick in the 2026 NFL draft. Allen has 78 tackles (team-high), 3 1/2 sacks (team-high), two forced fumbles (team-high) and three pass deflections this season.

"It'll be day-to-day, and hopefully we'll get him back," Smart said on Bowens. "I hadn't actually had a chance to see Chauncey (Bowens) yet, but he was doing rehab this morning and had a good report from that."
The rest of Georgia's injury report remains about the same. Defensive lineman Christen Miller went down against Texas, but "he's good" and expected to play. Georgia is still without receivers Talyn Taylor and Colbie Young. Georgia tight end Ethan Barbour is likely out for the year along with defensive lineman Jordan Hall. Cornerback Ondre Evans continues to recover from a torn ACL.
