Chicago Bulls rookie Noa Essengue neared a double-double in the G League on Friday, helping the Windy City Bulls to a home win over the Cleveland Charge.
Essengue tallied 15 points, nine rebounds, six assists, three blocked shots and one steal in the 142-135 victory at Now Arena. He went 5-of-9 from the field and was a plus-two in 31 minutes as Windy City improved to 5-2 to begin the season.

Essengue has made two brief appearances with Chicago this season, totaling six minutes earlier this week. Bulls coach Billy Donovan has used a 9-10 man rotation for much of the early going, leaving Essengue and others out of the fold.
The Frenchman played his fourth game with Windy City on Friday, averaging 23 points, 8.5 rebounds, 2.8 assists, 1.3 steals and one block on 50.8% shooting from the field. He has scored at least 20 points three times, including a 28-point debut on Nov. 11.
