The Cleveland Browns and the San Francisco 49ers face off in Week 13 in a huge matchup for both teams. While the 8-4 49ers are trying to stay alive in the NFC West race, Shedeur Sanders and the Browns are chasing positive momentum and records.

While Cleveland is all but eliminated from the playoffs, the players still have a lot to play for. A strong finish for Sanders could earn him the starting job in 2026, while Myles Garrett and Carson Schwesinger are chasing individual accolades.

But for Sanders, he'll have to contend with the 49ers and poor weather in Week 13. However, despite this poor weather, ESPN insider Adam Schefter reports that the Browns are confident in the former Colorado quarterback being able to handle the conditions.

Browns confident in Shedeur Sanders to handle poor conditions

"The Browns are not worried about how much Sunday's weather might affect Sanders," Schefter reports. "There could be cold, snow, and wind -- typical Cleveland conditions in late November."

Sanders playing in poor conditions isn't a concern for the Browns, as the organization is confident the fifth-round rookie can handle the cold, wind, and even potentially snow and rain.

Kevin Stefanski feels the same way, as he sees the situation for Sanders as one not unfamiliar to the Colorado quarterback.

"He played at Colorado," Stefanski said, "That's a lot of wind that you're going to get. You're going to get all sorts of weather. So he's good to go."

While the weather will likely have an impact in Week 13 for the Browns-49ers matchup, the Browns might be the team that benefits more from the poor weather.

San Francisco doesn't normally play in bad-weather games, and the game after Brock Purdy threw three interceptions in one half, this Browns defense could make a huge impact in Week 13.

On the flip side, despite a strong 49ers defense and the potentially poor conditions, Stefanski and the Browns are not concerned with how Sanders will handle things.

The tide is shifting in Sanders' favor, as he has a chance to lock down the starting job with a strong performance in Week 13. It's a big matchup for both teams, and for Sanders, the organization has faith that the poor weather won't impact his play against the 49ers.
