It’s been just over a year since the finale of Arcane season 2 landed on Netflix, wrapping up the series. However, for fans of the show, the world of the League of Legends adaptation hasn’t gone quiet. Even though it concluded in November 2024, Arcane’s reach has only expanded. New drops, merch, and crossovers have kept the energy alive.
While there’s been scant news of any new TV show set in the League of Legends universe, Arcane hasn’t faded into memory. Instead, 2025 has quietly served up a steady drip-feed of Arcane-related content that keeps fans invested, even beyond the narrative of the series.
Now, the latest development has many longtime fans celebrating. After three years away, two of the most requested characters from Arcane, Jinx and Vi, are returning to one of the most popular online games around: Fortnite.
Jinx And Vi Are Back On Fortnite Until December 29
The In-Demand Arcane Skins Return To Fortnite This Week
After a long absence, Fortnite has confirmed the return of Arcane’s Jinx and Vi skins, timed with the launch of Chapter 7 Season 1 (via esportsinsider). On November 29, players will see the skins back in the Item Shop, marking their first availability since early 2022.
As with all skins, this comeback is limited: Jinx and Vi from Arcane will only be available on Fortnite until December 29. For players who want to snag them, timing is critical. According to the announcement, the two Fortnite x Arcane bundles coming to the shop include a range of cosmetics and extras.
The Arcane Jinx Bundle includes: the Jinx skin, Jinx’s Dream Monkey back bling, the Pow Pow Crusher pickaxe, the “Playground (Instrumental)” lobby music, a “Wreaking Havoc” loading screen, a “Katchoo!” loading screen, and a Jinxed spray.
The Arcane Vi Bundle includes: the Vi skin, Memories of Zaun back bling, the Piltover Warden Hammer pickaxe, the Punching Practice emote, and the “Piltover’s Finest” loading screen.
Pricing hasn’t been definitively confirmed yet, but based on prior history, bundles were 1,800 V-Bucks in 2022, and reporting suggests the comeback bundles may be priced similarly. Individual skins in past runs cost 1,500 V-Bucks, though that was back before the extended gap.
For fans who missed out first time around when the skins were last available in 2022, or for newcomers to the Arcane universe, this window is a rare second shot at securing two of the most iconic crossover skins in Fortnite’s history. Don’t sleep on it.
Arcane Only Needed 2 Seasons To Become A Pop Culture Icon
Vi And Jinx’s Influence Reaches Far Beyond Its Two Seasons
Vi and Jinx as children in Arcane season 1
It’s wild to think that after just 18 episodes across two seasons, Arcane has become more than just a popular show. It’s now a full-blown pop culture juggernaut, and the excitement of the return of Jinx and Vi to Fortnite is just the latest proof.
As a loose adaptation of League of Legends, Arcane could have remained a niche interest for hardcore players. Instead, the Netflix show transcended its origins. Jinx and Vi now exist not just as champions in a MOBAs roster, but as cultural icons gamers clamor for in other worlds.
Many Arcane fans have little to no interest in playing League itself. Their attachment lies purely with the story, the characters, the animation, and the vibe of the show. Despite not being League of Legends fans, they follow these characters across platforms and games. They eagerly await Jinx wearing her jagged grin or Vi swinging a hammer through a Fortnite lobby.
That cross-game love shows how Arcane’s influence surpasses its roots. That a show with 9 episodes per season could spawn such demand speaks volumes. The relentless popularity of Jinx in memes, skin-hunting communities, and on social media proves Arcane made the kind of impact few shows ever manage, even ones that last much longer.
For fans who never touched League of Legends, Arcane provided a fresh gateway into LoL’s world, but more importantly, a world fans embraced on its own terms. The Fortnite return isn’t just a collab, it’s a celebration of what Arcane achieved.
It’s proof that even a brief, tightly told animated run can leave a mark bigger than longer-running franchises, and that a fandom built on artistry, character and heart can echo across games, platforms, and years. For a show that ended after two seasons like Arcane, that’s a heck of a legacy.
