BOYS BASKETBALL

Appleton North 101, Winneconne 82

OSHKOSH - Grant Hardy, Will Sweeney and Matt Rosplochowski combined for 45 points in the first half of the Lightning’s win over the Wolves at Oshkosh Arena.

Sweeney finished with a game-high 32 points for Appleton North. Rosplochowski added 26, while Hardy scored 19.

Parker Ingles led Winneconne with 25 points, scoring 16 in the second half. Drew Lenz made four 3-point baskets and finished with 23 points.

NEENAH - The Spartans led 38-18 at halftime in the nonconference victory over the Rockets.

Roan Koeper led Neenah with 11 points.

Kettle Moraine Lutheran 78, Xavier 72 (Wednesday)

APPLETON - The Hawks were outscored by 16 points in the second half as the Chargers rallied for the nonconference win.

Logan Ramczyk led Xavier with 25 points. Kyler Bleck added 21 points.

DENMARK - The Lions played strong first-half defense to build a 22-point lead in the win over the Rockets.

Kara Hedrich and Kaitlyn Schuman both scored 13 points to lead Brillion. Grace Krueger added 12 points and Emma Schuh scored 11.

MEQUON - Andrew Ostermann scored a power-play goal 3:41 into overtime to lift the Stars to the victory over the Highlanders.

Xander Herron scored four goals and had an assist for Fox Cities. Quinn Murphy also scored.

Jake Koller led the Stars with two assists. Fox Cities goalie Easton Thoresen made 36 saves.

Luke LaLonde had three goals and an assist for Homestead.

Neenah/Hortonville/Menasha 7, New Richmond 0

NEW RICHMOND - Keegan Krueger and Mark Sutton each scored two goals to lead the Rockets to the win over the Tigers.

Cartyr Simonson, Cole Rothermel and Gus Weinholzer also scored for the Rockets, who led 3-0 after the first period.

Matthew Nelson had 21 saves in goal for NHM. Jackson Hartigan had 20 saves for New Richmond.
