The Chicago Bears dominated the Philadelphia Eagles in a 24-15 win on Black Friday, where Chicago improved to 9-3, winning their fifth straight game and remaining atop the NFC North.

While the score might not necessarily tell the whole story, the Bears dominated this game from start to finish. It was a complete 60-minute showing, where the offense excelled on the ground to the tune of 281 yards, with D'Andre Swift and Kyle Monangai both rushing for 100 yards, and the defense continued to take the ball away and held the Eagles to nine points before garbage time.

Following the game, head coach Ben Johnson sounded off on the statement win, where he praised his players and coaches for getting the job done on a short week.

"Just really proud of everybody involved," Johnson said. "Short week, we really haven't had one of those yet as a team. I thought the coaching staff did a great job putting a sound plan together. We knew it was going to be a race trying to get everything in and kind of harping on the guys that the details were going to be the difference here this week and the team that made the least number of mistakes was probably going to win this game. Fortunately for us, we felt like that fell in our favor."

The Bears have been rolling this season in Johnson's first season, where they've won nine games in the last 10 after an 0-2 start. The criticism has been that Chicago hasn't beaten any winning teams, and they've answered the bell with back-to-back wins over division leaders, including this defining win over the defending Super Bowl champions.

Now, things kick up a notch as the Bears head to Lambeau Field to battle the Green Bay Packers for the first of two games in the next three weeks. With the NFC North heating up, Chicago will look to keep the North and never give it back.
