Former Chelsea player Scott Minto believes the impact Estevao has made this season is nothing short of “sensational.”
Chelsea agreed a deal with Brazilian side Palmeiras in the summer of 2024 worth up to £51.4m, and Estevao finally arrived after the Club World Cup.

Scott Minto praises Estevao
Estevao scored a superb goal against Barcelona, and in doing so became the third teenager after Erling Haaland and Kylian Mbappe to score in his first three Champions League starts.
Enzo Maresca has managed his minutes carefully despite calls for him to be starting more regularly, and it seems the teenager isn’t fazed by anything.

Estevao has rightly been receiving plaudits, and the prospect of him and Cole Palmer linking up is a mouth watering one.

“I cannot tell you what it must be like for an 18-year-old kid to come to a different culture, different country, different continent, different language,” he told talkSPORT.
“And clearly, he’s not anywhere near fluent in English right now, but to look as if he’s been playing in this particular league when he’s well, a stone wet through in what we say is always the most physical league in the world, for him to make this type of impact is nothing short of sensational.”
Cole Palmer fit and available for Arsenal clash
Whilst Estevao has been shining Chelsea have been without their star man Palmer for the majority of the season due to a groin injury.

Palmer has made just four appearances in all competitions, and has only shared the pitch with Estevao for four minutes this season.
Maresca has spoken on the pair playing together, and it’s a combination that if it clicks will strike fear into opposition defences.
