Baldur's Gate 3 has one of the most active modding communities in gaming history, with thousands of mods available on Nexus Mods and countless more being added every day. Console players have had to wait to experience many of the best mods due to the nature of how they're processed, but in recent days, some of the best content was finally released for console players to enjoy.

Earlier this week (via Reddit), 17 new console mods were added to the list of Baldur's Gate 3 mods, including subclass mods for the 5e and Pyromancer Sorcerer subclasses, Astral Domain and Penance Domain Cleric subclasses, the Warrior of Mercy Monk subclass, as well as a unique "Commoner Class."

17 New Baldur's Gate 3 Console Mods Released This Week

Baldur's Gate 3 console mods have tended to release every week or so over the past year, but players were left in distress when nothing was announced last week (the week of November 10). However, Larian approved 17 total mods for console on November 19, which is relatively "early" compared to when these are typically revealed. The new batch of mods includes multiple excellent subclasses, including the hugely popular Pyromancer subclass mod.

Further, the 5e Sorcerer package is included in the rollout, which adds the Aberrant Mind, Clockwork Soul, Divine Soul, and Lunar Sorcery subclasses. These are incredibly fun sorcerer subclasses well worth checking out if you haven't already. You'll also be able to play the Warrior of Mercy Monk subclass, and a unique Commoner Class, which allows you to start the game as a farmer, innkeeper, laborer, or town guard.

New Batch Of BG3 Mods Includes True Dark Urge Mode

On top of the various subclass mods introduced this week for console, players also got access to some unique mods that are sure to change up their next playthrough. These include the Dark Urge's "True Origin Immersion" mod, which starts your Dark Urge run off wounded and with no equipment, as well as the "Be My Bhaalentine" mod that lets your romantic interests be abducted by Orin the Red once you reach the kidnap point.

Overall, it's been a great week for Baldur's Gate 3 console players, with a ton of new content options to experiment with. Community mods continue to gradually release on console, and players are constantly getting new reasons to jump back in for another immersive run through Baldur's Gate 3.
