NEW ORLEANS (WGNO) — No. 1 Edna Karr took on No. 8 Evangel Christian in the quarterfinals of the Division I Select playoffs at Morris Jeff Stadium.

The Cougars posted a dominant 49-20 win over the Eagles to advance to the semifinals.

In the semifinals, they will take on No. 4 Catholic – Baton Rouge.
