The Smoky Bears head coach, Todd Loveday said he’s proud of this team for building off last years’ success, but doing it entirely in their own way.
“They’ve earned it every step of the way,” Loveday said. “It’s always tough, even more tough this year I think. We went from the hunters to the hunted, I believe. These guys have their own identity, a lot of the same DNA of last year’s team of course but a different identity. They have a lot of grit about them and they love each other and have a lot of fun.”
