Georgia High School Football: No. 22 Carrollton bullies past No. 4 Grayson

For all the talk surrounding No. 3 Buford and No. 4 Grayson competing at the end of the season for the Georgia high school football GHSA Class 6A state championship, No. 22 Carrollton may have felt some type of way about that.

The Trojans made sure to put everyone, not only in the state of Georgia but the country, on notice as they bullied their way to a 34-14 victory over the previously undefeated Rams on Friday night at Grisham Stadium. Carrollton running back Cameron Wood led the way for the Trojans’ offense, scoring three touchdowns on the night.

With the win, the Trojans advance to the Final Four and join Buford, which defeated Douglas County, 30-15, in the state semis.

The game entered halftime tied at 14-all, but it would be a total defensive effort by the Trojans as they held the Rams scoreless for the entire second half en route to clinching a berth into the state semifinals.
