A&M is in full “Bucky Ball” mode, and the first 20 minutes of the Battle of the Bay were the best basketball the Aggies have played this season. They stormed out to a 19-3 lead in the opening five minutes, sinking three shots from beyond the arc and forcing three turnovers.

The second half grew a little sloppy at one point, allowing FSU to go on a 10-1 run that cut the margin to 19 points with 11 minutes remaining. Josh Holloway and Pop Isaacs responded with back-to-back buckets to end the drought and regain control of the game. Both teams traded short scoring runs until about the six-minute mark, when A&M began to stretch the lead again before ultimately sealing the 95-59 win.
There was plenty to like in this performance, especially against a team with a similar style and nearly identical record. FSU is a top-20 scoring team, and holding them to just 59 points highlights how far the Aggies have progressed in a short span. Offensively, they looked sharp—precisely the kind of execution Coach Bucky McMillan promised fans to expect. This marks their biggest win of the season so far, and they now have valuable tape to review and correct minor mistakes.

Dominguez led A&M in scoring with 21 points.
Holloway was perfect from the field, making all three shots and going 4-of-4 from the free-throw line for eight points.

Texas A&M will travel to Pittsburgh, Philadelphia, to take on the Pittsburgh Panthers in the ACC-SEC Challenge on Tuesday, December 2, at 6 p.m. CT. The game will air on ESPNU.
