Lennart Karl’s quick and meteoric rise at Bayern Munich has not gone unnoticed. Left, right and center, the world is getting to know him just as Bayern Munich fans are getting accustomed to yet another youth academy product playing on a regular basis. Karl has attracted praise from everyone including his team mate, Harry Kane.
Kane mentioned the following per @BILD via @iMiaSanMia: “He’s a fantastic player. He’s not afraid to dribble.” Karl has shown himself to be fearless in the biggest stages of all, even when his teammates have not been up to par. He is the only player to have breached Arsenal’s defense in the UEFA Champions League this season. Kane added: “He just has to keep working hard, and he’ll have a great future ahead of him”. Karl definitely seems to have a sense of maturity about him that belies his age.“

However, as many fans have seen, when players rise to the top too early, the risk of injuries from playing too much looms above them. Just ask Jamal Musiala. It also remains to be seen when Musiala returns and whether he is able to reach the same heights again. Thus Karl’s rise comes at an excellent time for Bayern.“
