The Wisconsin men's basketball program looks like it's had another good offseason in the transfer portal.

Guard Nick Boyd came from San Diego State and is the leading scorer, with 22 points per game. Forward Austin Rapp, from Portland, and guard Andrew Rohde, from Virginia, are starters, too. Rapp is averaging 11.5 points and Rohde is averaging 6.7. Guard Braeden Carrington, from Tulsa, is averaging 6.7 points off the bench.

Last season, guard John Tonje, a transfer from Colorado State, was the Badgers' top scorer, at 19.6 points per game.

How is Daniel Freitag doing at Buffalo?

The sophomore guard is leading the 7-0 Bisons in scoring, with 20.3 points per game. He scored 33 points in a 94-90 victory Nov. 18 over Vermont.

How is Xavier Amos doing at Loyola?

The senior forward has been out with a hand injury and hasn't played this season.

How is Chris Hodges doing at Montana State?

The grad student forward is starting for the Bobcats and averaging 7.3 points per game.

How is Camren Hunter doing at Central Arkansas?

A senior guard playing for his fourth school, Storr is averaging 14.9 points with Mississippi. Last season at Kansas, he averaged 6.1 points and 15.7 minutes after averaging 16.8 points for the Badgers in the 2023-24 season.

How is Connor Essegian doing at Nebraska?

Essegian, a senior guard, is averaging 5.4 points in 14 minutes per game coming off the bench for the Cornhuskers. He averaged 10.7 points last season.

How is Gus Yalden doing at Vermont?

Yalden, a redshirt sophomore forward, is averaging 17.4 points per game for the Catamounts, shooting 67% from the field and 57% from three-point range. He scored 27 points in Vermont's 79-74 victory over Princeton on Nov. 27.

Last season, at Seton Hall, he averaged 1.8 points and 8.4 minutes per game.

How is Luke Haertle doing at South Dakota State?

A junior guard, Haertle is averaging five points and 17 minutes a game for the Jackrabbits. He played at Division II Winona State last season, averaging 17.2 points, 6.8 rebounds and 3.5 assists.

How is Ross Candelino doing at Lipscomb?

Candelino, a redshirt junior guard, is starting for the Bisons and averaging 12 points and 5.3 rebounds. That's a big jump from last season, when he averaged 1.9 points and 4.8 minutes in 17 games.
