A new flash of hope has been filled within the Cincinnati Bengals' organization after franchise quarterback Joe Burrow returned from his nine-game absence on Thanksgiving Day against the Baltimore Ravens.

Burrow brought a new level of confidence to the team on Thursday, passing for 261 yards and two touchdowns in the 32-14 win. Helping snap the Bengals' four-game losing streak.

However, there are multiple injuries that fans have been worried about. Cincinnati was without defensive end Trey Hendrickson as he missed his fourth consecutive game, and wide receiver Jermaine Burton was inactive for Thursday's game as well. Head coach Zac Taylor provided updates to the two players on Friday.

ESPN insider Ben Baby reported on Friday, mentioning that Zac Taylor updated both Trey Hendrickson and Jermaine Burton's status moving forward, listing both players as day-to-day after the Week 13 win.

Hendrickson, 30, has only suited up for seven games in 2025 after leading the league in sacks in 2024 with 17.5. The Pro Bowl pass-rusher was dealt the injury in Week 6, returned in Week 8, but re-aggravated the same injury that has kept him out since.

Through seven games this season, Hendrickson has 16 total tackles and four sacks.

Burton, 24, has faced multiple injuries in 2025 that have resulted in him having no impact on the Bengals this season. It appears that he was a late scratch for the Thanksgiving Day game and has yet to record any statistics so far this season.

The 2024 third-round pick's time in Cincinnati could be drawing to a close.
