The nickname is similar to the slang term "HIM," and it has caught on quickly with Patriots fans on social media. If anything, it's proof that the team has an emerging superstar on its hands.

“I’m not really sure,” Vrabel replied. “I just heard about it ten seconds ago. I couldn’t even figure out 6-7, and now it’s Drake ‘Drake Maye’ Maye-Maye, I don’t know.”
Another nickname that has been thrown around for Maye is "Draco." Figuring out an official nickname for the young, talented quarterback appears to be an ongoing process.
It comes with the territory of finding success in the NFL. Only time will tell before Maye finds a name that actually sticks.
