Los Angeles Rams quarterback Matthew Stafford is 37 years old and will turn 38 in February. Not that that is old by any stretch, but what he has been able to do this year is rare at his age. Stafford continues to get better at playing football with age. Will he be the next Tom Brady in terms of age, playing until he is 45? That remains to be seen, but he could join NFL royalty during a game on Sunday Night Football against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
Stafford is leading the NFL in touchdown passes, having thrown 27. He has only 2 interceptions this year. On Sunday Night Football against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Stafford can join Tom Brady, Patrick Mahomes, and Aaron Rodgers as the only players in NFL history with at least 30 touchdown passes and 5 or fewer interceptions in their team's first eleven games of the season.
The Rams will play the Buccaneers at home on Sunday Night Football at 8:20 p.m. ET on NBC.
