There really is no place like home if you're Vanderbilt head coach Clark Lea.
The former Notre Dame defensive coordinator finalized a contract extension with the Commodores, an announcement that was made on Friday morning. The reigning SEC coach of the year has proven to be one of the most valuable program builders in the country.

No. 12 Vanderbilt (9-2) enters the regular-season finale this weekend at Tennessee looking for its first 10-win season since the program's debut in 1890. The program's nine wins already match its best regular-season total since 1915, including a school-record three victories against top-15 opponents. Already this season, the Commodores entered the top 10 in the AP rankings for the first time since 1947 and earned their highest ranking since 1937.
