Michigan football and Ohio State will face off again this year in "The Game," with a Big Ten title game berth and a potential college football playoff trip at risk.
The rivalry between the two bordering Midwest states runs so deep that the governors and lieutenant governors of both states each made a friendly wager for their hometown team.

Gretchen Whitmer in a news release. “I encourage every Michigander to wear maize and blue as we cheer on the leaders and the best in the biggest game of the year. I am confident that the Wolverines can beat that school down south for the fifth year in a row. Go Blue!”

Ohio Governor Mike DeWine wagered potato chips made in Ohio. They include: Conn’s Potato Chips from Zanesville, Grippo’s from Cincinnati, Jones’ Potato Chips from Mansfield, and Mikesell’s.

Additionally, Lt. Gov. Garlin Gilchrist II and Ohio Lieutenant Governor Jim Tressel also placed a friendly wager.
If their hometown team wins, the losing lieutenant governor will have to wear the other team's themed sweater vest and share it on social media, a news release says.
When is the Michigan, Ohio State game?
Michigan will host Ohio State in Ann Arbor at noon on Saturday, Nov. 29.
