Pirates trio risk missing Carling Knockout Cup final

Orlando Pirates could be without three key players for the Carling Knockout Cup final against Marumo Gallants at Peter Mokaba Stadium on Saturday, 06 December.

The Buccaneers risk doing without defender Lebone Seema, playmaker Patrick Maswanganyi, and anchor man Sihle Nduli, if the trio gets booked in the upcoming league match.

Having accumulated three yellow cards each, the three players are at risk of missing the League Cup final next weekend and will have to be disciplined against Durban City.

Abdeslam Ouaddou's men are gunning for a second domestic cup title this season as they already clinched the MTN8 trophy back in September.

Now, the former Morocco international will be keen to guide the Sea Robbers to their first League Cup triumph since the 2011/12 campaign.

Meanwhile, Gallants also have a host of players at risk of missing the deciding match in Polokwane as they face Magesi FC in the league one week prior to the final.

Club captain and goalkeeper Washington Arubi, Jaisen Clifford, Mpho Chabatsane and Sekela Sithole are all skating on thin ice for the Bloemfontein-based outfit.

While Ouaddou is searching for another silverware, Alexandre Lafitte will be itching to cause an upset and oust Pirates to cup glory, having already won against the Soweto giants in the league this season.
