Jordan Love's wife has the perfect nickname for the Green Bay Packers after their big Thanksgiving Day win in Detroit.

"The Holiday heroes strike again," Ronika Stone Love wrote on her Instagram Story following the Packers' 31-24 victory over the Lions on Nov. 27.

"Holiday heroes" sure has a nice ring to it.

And it's also true.

If the Packers are playing on a holiday, you can expect them to strike.

Since Love became the starting quarterback three years ago, the Packers have played every season on Thanksgiving.

They've racked up wins each year. First came a 29-22 win at Detroit in 2023 that set the stage for a late-season run to the playoffs, then came a 30-17 victory at home over the Miami Dolphins in 2024 before the latest coming on Love's four-touchdown game in 2025 back in the Motor City.

But it doesn't end with just Thanksgiving.

On New Year's Eve two years ago, also in Love's first season as the starter, with the Packers needing a win to keep their playoff hopes alive, Green Bay went into U.S. Bank Stadium and stomped the Minnesota Vikings, 33-10. Love was brilliant in that game, throwing for 256 yards on 24 of 33 passing with three touchdowns and zero interceptions.

Love and running back Aaron Jones put on party hats and rang in the new year with some bubbly.

And when Love was the backup QB to Aaron Rodgers, the Packers played on Christmas twice: in 2021 against the Cleveland Browns at Lambeau Field and against the Dolphins in 2022 on the road.

The Packers were victorious in both games, giving their fans a truly Merry Christmas.

The holiday games for the Packers are done in 2025, but if Love and his team (8-3-1) play like they did at Ford Field on their way to a third straight victory it won't matter what day they play on.

Right now, the Packers are cooking heading into the final five games of the season.
