When the Dallas Cowboys pulled the trigger on a trade for George Pickens in the offseason, there were many skeptics of the move, mostly due to George's fiery on-field personality.

Well, that is nowhere to be seen, and Pickens has been an absolute monster for Dak Prescott and the offense.

In the 31-28 win over the Kansas City Chiefs to move to 6-5-1 after Thanksgiving, Pickens hauled in six receptions for 88 yards, and something impressive happened in the process.

George is now officially having his best-ever season in the NFL.

With 1,142 yards and eight touchdowns from 73 receptions, Pickens now has career-highs in all of those categories.

Oh, and he's only played 12 games, too.

Is Pickens the signing of the season?

You could certainly make that case.

He has only had one game under 57 yards (Week 1, 30 yards), and over the past couple of months, he has been unstoppable.

Yards totals of 168, 82,78, 79, 144, 146, and 88 yards, along with three touchdowns, Pickens has been Dak's go-to guy in the passing game.

Of course, the topic of Pickens staying beyond 2025 is still a big one, with the Cowboys able to franchise tag George for roughly $28 million, but make no mistake, the Cowboys CAN afford to pay him $30 million APY or more if needed.

And right now, Pickens is playing like a Pro Bowl receiver (maybe All-Pro?) as the Cowboys are now hunting for an unlikely playoff spot.
