Prior to Week 11, the Dallas Cowboys had not won back-to-back games this year, but with their season on the line, coach Brian Schottenheimer's team has beaten the Las Vegas Raiders and the Philadelphia Eagles.

Momentum is building.

And now comes the Kansas City Chiefs today on Thanksgiving with the Cowboys aiming to make it three in a row and continue what is still an unlikely playoff push.

It won't be easy, but at 5-5-1, the Cowboys are still in with a shot at the postseason, and if you thought momentum was building after the Eagles game?

Hey, if Dallas can somehow slay Chiefs QB Patrick Mahomes, then things really get interesting.

The Cowboys just announced their inactives for the day. Sitting out are

WR Jonathan Mingo, DTs Jay Toia and Perrion Winfrey, Caelen Carson, OT Tyler Guyton and RB Jaydon Blue.

Meanwhile, for CeeDee Lamb, he is ready to shake off the yips of last week (he had three drops in the win over Philly) and take advantage of the opportunity Dallas has given itself, thanks to winning back-to-back games.

“It's exciting,” Lamb said. “Everything that we plan for coming off the bye as a team, we're building that unity. We're building that togetherness, that brotherhood, and I feel like we're starting to click. Once we get to continuing to do that as we go on the stretch that we want to, I feel like it's gonna be fun. It's gonna be worth it.”

Things are starting to click, more so for the defense, which was a shambles prior to the moves for Quinnen Williams and Logan Wilson.

In the last two games, Dallas has had rocky periods but has navigated them before flexing its muscles, highlighted by keeping the Eagles scoreless on eight straight possessions. So, Matt Eberflus' unit is playing better (thank god).

As for the offense, a down two weeks before the bye, it has now found its mojo with George Pickens, Javonte Williams, and Dak Prescott leading the way. With the Chiefs on deck, Dallas has to keep that momentum rolling.

Still on the outside looking in at the playoffs, Lamb is right. What is being built is exciting, but now the time has come to take a season-defining scalp.

Buckle up folks, as today marks a serious opportunity in front of the Cowboys as they plan on "clicking'' once again.
