Europa League: Malen injured by object thrown from stands

During the match between Aston Villa and Young Boys, Donyell Malen opened the scoring as early as the 26th minute. His celebration in front of the visiting supporters quickly took a turn for the worse: an object was thrown at him, striking his head and causing him to bleed.

Later, after netting his second goal, the Dutch forward once again celebrated in front of the opposition fans. More objects were hurled his way, forcing him to dodge to avoid being hit.

In response to these incidents, the referee temporarily suspended the match while Young Boys players tried to calm their supporters. Play eventually resumed, but the atmosphere remained tense.
