Yuki Tsunoda has revealed that his only regret since joining Red Bull was his crash during the Emilia Romagna Grand Prix.
The Japanese driver joined the Milton Keynes outfit ahead of the third round of the 2025 season. Since replacing rookie Liam Lawson alongside Max Verstappen, Tsunoda has scored 25 points while struggling to extract the same performance as the Dutchman from the car.

"No, I don't have any regrets, but maybe the only thing I can say is Imola crash," he explained. "I think that made me probably back step quite a lot, you know, in coming parts, I would say. So, only that.
"My decision to the Red Bull is happy. I'm still taking the same one, exactly the same. Yeah, I think that made me stronger. But yeah, only thing is that, something that I feel, okay, something I didn't make, some big mistake this year was that Imola crash. Yeah, that's it."

Yuki Tsunoda, Red Bull Racing Team
It is understood the Racing Bulls rookie Isack Hadjar is the favourite for Tsunoda's seat with Red Bull next year. Red Bull junior Arvid Lindblad has also been linked to a seat at Racing Bulls, leaving Tsunoda and Lawson to compete for the final seat in the sister squad.
Red Bull and Racing Bulls are the final teams to confirm the 2026 driver line-ups, meaning the driver left without a seat will be searching for a contract, likely either in a reserve driver role or in another racing series.
