Rotten Tomatoes is one of the most respected sites for aggregating reviews of movies and TV shows, awarding them a score to help viewers with their watch decision. There are two scores per title: a Tomatometer, the average score among critics, and the Popcornmeter, an aggregate percentage rating from viewers who weigh in.
Unsurprisingly, it's challenging to achieve a perfect 100% Rotten Tomatoes rating from critics, especially, which effectively labels the show "Certified Fresh." (Technically, a movie or show with at least 80 reviews and a score of 75% or higher gets this designation). A perfect score is almost impossible to earn, especially for a show with multiple seasons, but these ones have managed to do it.
10 'Jane the Virgin' (2014–2019)

This romantic comedy, drama, and satirical telenovela aired for five seasons, and every single one of the five has a perfect score. The story of Jane the Virgin centers around Jane (Gina Rodriguez), a 23-year-old Latina virgin who is accidentally inseminated by her gynecologist and winds up pregnant, despite never having had sex.
Designed to parody tropes in telenovelas, Jane the Virgin became a critical success thanks to its totally unique premise. The series manages to cover a heartwarming story with a touch of goofiness as well, and Rodriguez is the perfect actor to pull it off. Fans love the satisfying end that wrapped the story up with a neat bow to bring closure. Bottom line: the show really is downright perfect from start to finish.
9 'Counterpart' (2017–2019)
JK Simmons as Howard Silk in CounterpartImage via Starz
Fans were disappointed when Counterpart was canceled after two seasons, especially given how well the show was being received. The sci-fi thriller stars J.K. Simmons in a dual role as Howard Silk, a meek office worker, and Howard Silk Prime, his alternate self who is a confident and accomplished secret agent. As it happens, a duplicate Earth was created during an experiment in the '80s, and the two have been co-existing ever since. But when a flu pandemic killed many in the Prime world, setting that world back technologically, they blamed the Alpha world and wanted revenge. And so, the two worlds collide.
Simmons is fantastic in the dual role; the only similarities between Howard and Howard Prime are how they look and their voices. Beyond that, he truly brings you into two different worlds with each of them and allows the sparks to fly when those worlds collide. A hidden gem for sci-fi fans, Counterpart's unique premise is thought-provoking about the state of Earth, humanity, and how things and we as people could be very different under different circumstances.
8 'Los Espookys' (2019–2022)

This Spanish-language comedy stars Julio Torres as a man navigating life with his group of friends with an unconventional job. They set up horror experiences and try to trick people into thinking they're real. It was a hit with fans, even winning a Peabody Award.
Los Espookys' strength was in the fact that it was different. Collider's Haleigh Foutch calls Los Espookys "extremely strange and not for everyone. This is a show about weirdos for weirdos," they add, "made by a trio of comedians who built their careers out of slightly askance humor." One of those comedians, it should be noted, is Fred Armisen. The show is fun and peculiar, one of the most unique series on television at the time. Torres, who also created the series, went on to create Fantasmas, which has a solid 94% rating as well.
7 'Somebody Somewhere' (2022–2024)

Ending its run after three seasons, each one of them kept the momentum going, and critics were pleased with the story and direction. Somebody Somewhere never wavered from its perfect rating. The comedy drama stars Bridget Everett as Sam, a woman in her 40s who returns to her hometown to help care for her dying sister. Acclimating back into her old life, she encounters changing relationships with family and friends.
Not a single critic has anything bad to say about Somebody Somewhere, which received glowing reviews all the way through. Of the third season, Collider's Taylor Gates describes Somebody Somewhere as refreshingly "grounded and real," adding that it's one of the most "beautifully authentic" shows on television. Thankfully, the ending is a fitting swan song, a perfect send-off for a show that's strong all the way through.
6 'Flowers' (2016–2018)

There are some familiar faces in this small British black comedy drama, including Olivia Colman and Harriet Walter. Flowers is about the dynamic within the Flowers family, which includes a depressed dad, several grown kids with differing jobs and personalities, a senile mom, and a Japanese illustrator for the books the dad, a children's author, penned.
The series is admittedly strange. Netflix's Flowers is weird and is not a show that's immediately easy to like, but "is a reward for those who stick with it. It has the sensibilities of a black comedy but is also pretty intense in its depictions of mental health conditions, making it somewhat eye-opening and cathartic as well. Interestingly, the series was created by Will Sharpe, who also starred in Giri/Haji, another 100% Rotten Tomatoes series.
5 'Deadloch' (2023–)

There has only been one season of Deadloch so far, but the black comedy crime mystery series was renewed for a second season, which is scheduled to premiere in March 2026. It begins when the body of a man shows up in a quiet settlement, and two female investigators are tasked with looking into it. In perfect odd couple fashion, they couldn't be more different from one another. The pair in this underrated comedy series uncover plenty of secrets among the townspeople as they look into what might have happened.
Deadloch is a clever parody of the murder mystery genre, a fun and quirky watch. Within the relationship dynamics among characters, there's a lot of social commentary thrown in about things like homophobia, gender politics, and generational wealth, handling them all in a sensitive way with a healthy dose of humor. Expectations are high for the long-awaited second season, with fans hoping it will live up to the first.
4 'Giri/Haji' (2019)
Yōsuke Kubozuka and Masahiro Motoki in 'Giri/Haji'Image via Netflix
A British crime drama, Giri/Haji is set in both London and Tokyo, and the story is told in both English and Japanese. Only lasting a single season, it's about Kenzo (Takehiro Hira), a detective from Tokyo who travels to London to look for his brother Yuto (Yōsuke Kubozuka), who he discovers is not actually dead as he had previously believed. He has been accused of murdering a high-profile young man who is part of a Japanese organized crime syndicate, and he's in trouble. While trying to save his brother, Kenzo is also obligated to take care of his family back home.
An action-packed thriller that keeps viewers gripped through all eight episodes, the show was canceled, but it maintains a perfect rating. The show's themes touch on familiar duty and honor, along with moral obligation. It presents the question of what you might do in such a situation to save someone you love, and what you would sacrifice. It's also nice to see a mix of international actors appear in the series. The show has Brotherhood vibes in its plot as the protagonist wrestles with his duty versus his love for and desire to protect his brother.
3 'Arcane' (2021–2024)

Airing two seasons, Arcane: League of Legends is a steampunk action-adventure series set in the League of Legends universe developed by Riot Games. At the center is Violet "Vi" (Hailee Steinfeld) and Powder/Jinx (Ella Purnell), who engage in conflict within their city. Praised for its animation, writing, worldbuilding, and voice acting, the series appeals equally to both fans of the game and those who aren't even familiar with it.
The animated series is among the best of the 21st century and even won two Emmys for Outstanding Animated Program. It has been praised for its visuals, with Collider's official review of Arcane Season 2 praising the "breathtaking and colorful action sequences." "There's never a single dull frame on the screen," they add. "You could practically hang any still from the series on your wall."
2 'Avatar: The Last Airbender' (2005–2008)
Nickelodeon's beloved animated epic, Avatar: The Last Airbender, ran for three seasons, and each one remains "Certified Fresh" several years later. The story begins when Aang, a 12-year-old Airbender and the long-lost Avatar, is discovered frozen in an iceberg by Water Tribe siblings Katara and Sokka. Aang awakens to a world ravaged by war — the Fire Nation, led by Fire Lord Ozai, has launched a global conquest, wiping out the Air Nomads and threatening all four nations. With his new friends, Aang must master water, earth, and fire to restore balance before Ozai’s power becomes unstoppable.
Avatar targets a younger audience without ever talking down to it, which also makes it appealing to adults. Each Book (Water, Earth, Fire) delivers character-driven arcs, rich world-building, and cinematic animation that borrows from real-world martial arts. Critics and fans alike still regard it as one of the greatest animated series ever created, not just for its visuals or storytelling, but for how it blends sweeping fantasy with emotional storytelling, resulting in an iconic show that's still worth discovering today
1 'Fleabag' (2016–2019)

Fleabag is only two seasons, and there was a long wait between them, but this comedy drama born from Phoebe Waller-Bridge's one-woman show struck a chord with viewers and critics alike. The British comedy drama is about the unnamed main character, known only as Fleabag, who is navigating her life as a single woman in London. As she encounters different situations, including dalliances with men, the character breaks the fourth wall, bringing viewers right into her story.
The show has an audience score that is almost just as high at 92% for Season 1 and 93% for Season 2. Fleabag swept the Emmys, winning for Outstanding Comedy Series, Outstanding Lead Actress for Waller-Bridge, and Outstanding Writing. Collider's review of Fleabag calls it "smart, sexy, and deeply emotional," appreciating the show's commentary on grief and healing. "The characters in Fleabag are often sharp, intense, mean, and extremely passive-aggressive, [...] but a breathless pace and an extraordinarily charming cast balance it back to the side of quirk and whimsy."
