Football

• Khalon Simmons (Meadville 2023) was selected to the PSAC West second-team offense. Simmons scored 14 total touchdowns, 13 of which were rushing. His 13 rushing touchdowns ranks No. 4 in program history for rushing touchdowns in a season. He finished with 612 rushing yards on 125 attempts and added 25 catches for 260 yards. Simmons announced over the weekend that he was entering the transfer portal.

• Griffin Buzzell (Meadville 2022) was selected to the PSAC West first-team defense for the third consecutive year. The senior ranked seventh in the nation with 11.1 tackles per game. He was first in the PSAC in tackles per game and 11th in Division II with an average of 5.4 solo tackles per game.

• Wyatt Barzak (Cochranton 2022) participated in Grove City’s playoff loss to Hannover.

Volleyball

• Kaylee Mattera (Conneaut 2023) saw action in Seton Hill’s PSAC tournament loss last week. In the match, Mattera put up two kills, one block assist and one dig.

• Averie Braymer (Saegertown 2022) was named to the All-PAC team as an honorable mention for Bethany College. The senior appeared in all 25 matches this season. She led the team in kills (228) and was second in blocks (30). Braymer finished her career with 467 kills, 96 blocks, 144 digs and 65 aces.

• Mia Soerensen (Meadville 2022) helped Vanderbilt make a run to the SEC tournament quarterfinals last week. In the three matches she scored 33 kills, seven block assists, four digs, three assists and one ace.

• Emma Parks (Meadville 2025) appeared in Marquette’s Big East semifinal match last week. Parks tallied five kills, two digs and one block assist.

Swimming

• Maura Bloss Rubio (Meadville 2024) swam for Saint Francis in the TYR 85’ Liberty Invite last week. She participated in the 4x50 relay, the 50 yard freestyle with a time of 24.33, the 4x50 yard medley relay, the 100 yard butterfly with a time of 1:14.71, the 100 yard backstroke with a time of 56.32, the 200 yard backstroke with a time of 2:03.27 and the 4x100 yard freestyle relay.

• J.J Gowetski (Conneaut 2024) swam for John Caroll last week in the Magnus Cup. She swam in the 200 yard freestyle, the 400 yard medley relay, the 200 yard medly relay, the 800 yard medley relay and the 400 yard freestyle relay

Wrestling

• Jaden Reagle (Saegertown 2021) won his dual for Mercyhurst wrestling last week. Reagle wrestled in the 174 class against Davis & Elkins.

Basketball

• Lyndzee Amory (Saegertown 2024) appeared in both games for Thiel last week. She scored nine points and picked up five rebounds.

• Hannah Brady (Conneaut 2024) played 17 minutes across Thiel’s two games last week.

• Jack Burchard (Meadville 2025) appeared in Gannon’s 101-79 win over Findlay.
