NFL nominates 32 players for the 2025 Art Rooney Sportsmanship Award

The NFL has nominated 32 players this year for the twelfth annual 2025 Art Rooney Sportsmanship Award. Each NFL franchise nominated one player for the award, which recognizes individuals around the league who exemplify outstanding sportsmanship.

Created in 2014, the award honors the late founding owner of the Pittsburgh Steelers and Pro Football Hall of Famer Art Rooney Sr. A panel of former NFL players from the Legends Committee will select eight finalists from the 32 nominees. Warrick Dunn, Larry Fitzgerald, Curtis Martin, and Leonard Wheeler will choose four from the NFC and four from the AFC, and they will be listed on the Pro Bowl ballot under the NFL Sportsmanship Award category when players vote in December.

The award is presented each year to an NFL player who best demonstrates the qualities of on-field sportsmanship, including fair play, respect for the game and opponents, and integrity in competition. Included below is a list of this year's nominees.
