At the age of 17, Lennart Karl has been given the chance in Bayern Munich's first team this season and has exceeded all expectations.
On Wednesday, the young attacker scored for the second game in a row, this time on the big European stage against Arsenal in the Champions League.

According to Kicker, his progress has reinforced the club’s belief in relying more on their own homegrown talents in the future.
They are well aware that integrating players like Karl could save Bayern millions in transfer fees that would otherwise be spent on expensive signings from abroad.
So far this season, Karl has scored four goals and provided two assists in 16 appearances for Bayern’s first team.
