With two first-round picks in the 2026 NFL Draft due to making a trade with the Atlanta Falcons, there's a very good chance the Rams will select two instant-impact players over the next few months.

It'll be interesting to see which direction they head, but Mike Renner of CBS Sports recently predicted them to go the linebacker route and select Jake Golday, a linebacker out of the University of Cincinnati.
“Golday is a former edge rusher who's turned into one of the most complete linebackers in college football. He still has that edge size but moves like an undersized linebacker in space,” he wrote.
Golday has also been seen as an edge rusher for other parts of his college career, so it might be possible that he does that in the NFL.

Ultimately, however, the Rams are in a really good spot to add two very good players, so this should just add to the talent they already have on both sides of the football.
