Philadelphia 76ers rookie guard VJ Edgecombe returned to practice on Wednesday after missing the last two games with a calf injury, head coach Nick Nurse said.
Edgecombe began experiencing some tightness in his left calf late during their overtime victory over the Milwaukee Bucks on Nov. 20. Nurse said earlier this week that the injury isn't considered serious after imaging tests came back clean.

"They were both out there," Nurse said. "I would say they looked pretty good. ... They did everything, both all the way through. It wasn't a ton of stuff, obviously, coming off (last night's game against Orlando), but they did both make it through. We got a couple of days yet, so hopefully we can get at least one, hopefully both of them back."
Edgecombe is averaging 15.6 points, six rebounds, 4.2 assists and 1.3 steals on 36.6% shooting from 3-point range in 15 appearances. He ranks third in rookie scoring and is one of four first-year players to score at least 30 points in a game this season.
The 20-year-old has fit in nicely with the Sixers, forming a lethal scoring duo with Tyrese Maxey. In fact, in their season debut on Oct. 22, they became the first backcourt pairing in franchise history to both score at least 34 points in the same game.
