Kansas (6-2) defeated No. 16 Tennessee (7-1), 81-76, on Wednesday in the Players Era Men's Championship. The game was contested at MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada.
Tennessee led, 41-34, at halftime.

Jaylen Carey led the Vols in rebounds (10). Bishop Boswell, Ja'Kobi Gillespie and Carey led Tennessee with four assists each.
Tennessee scored 27 bench points, 32 points in the paint, seven points off turnovers, 12 second chance points and eight fast break points. Kansas outrebounded Tennessee, 37-36. The Vols committed seven turnovers to Kansas' nine.
The Vols recorded wins against Rutgers and Houston in the Players Era Men's Championship.
