Everyone loves a classic rivalry game, and the Lone Star Showdown stands as the biggest matchup in Texas on Black Friday. The Longhorns claimed the trophy last season with a 17-7 victory over the Aggies at Kyle Field, and with an SEC title game on the line for A&M, they will aim to play spoiler. Regarding the CFP, this is not a must-win contest for the Aggies, as even a loss will still guarantee them a place among the 12 selected teams.

Yet even then, it likely will not suffice with three losses, including one to Florida. Ultimately, this game is about A&M conquering another obstacle, while the Longhorns hope to close their regular season with their most significant victory of the year.
The Texas A&M vs. Texas showdown will be broadcast nationally on ABC in Week 14 of the 2025 college football season. Sean McDonough and Greg McElroy will provide commentary from the booth at DKR. Kickoff is set for 6:30 p.m. CT / 7:30 p.m. ET.
