The Detroit Lions' old center is coming out of retirement, while his replacement will miss this week's Thanksgiving game against the Green Bay Packers with a knee injury.

The Lions ruled center Graham Glasgow and four other players out for Thursday, on the same day reports emerged that Frank Ragnow will rejoin the team.

Trystan Colon likely will start at center in his absence.

Ragnow has not yet formally been added to the roster.

The Lions (7-4) also ruled tight end Brock Wright (neck), receiver Kalif Raymond (ankle), safety Kerby Joseph (knee) and defensive tackle Josh Paschal (back) out with injuries and listed eight players as questionable.

Joseph will miss his sixth straight game with a knee injury, Raymond and Wright were hurt in last week's win over the New York Giants, and Paschal is on the nonfootball injury list recovering from back surgery.

Terrion Arnold, who missed two straight games with a brain injury, and defensive end Marcus Davenport, on injured reserve as he recovers from a strained pec, are among the players the Lions listed as questionable.

The Packers (7-3-1) ruled out four players for Thursday: Defensive linemen Karl Brooks and Lukas Van Ness, and receivers Jayden Reed (Michigan State) and Savion Williams.
