College football hits the final week of the regular season with huge conference games on tap. It is rivalry weekend, and expect plenty of intense, emotional contests. At stake in just about every league are spots in their respective championship games. What foes do those schools that reside in the AP Top 25 face? At the top of the list, of course, is No. 1 Ohio State trying to end a four-game losing streak against 15th-ranked Michigan in a Big Ten classic.

No. 25 SMU at California

SMU needs to beware being overconfident here. Cal is the team that sent Louisville on its downward spiral with a victory in Kentucky. Then again, the Mustings just destroyed the same Cardinals team, 38-6. Prediction: SMU 31, Cal 23

Pitt comes in here a winner of six of its last seven with the lone loss being to Notre Dame. Miami isn't the force it was early in the season but the Hurricanes have won three in a row. The loss to the Fighting Irish makes it seem Pitt is quite vulnerable to another defeat. Prediction: Miami 24, Pitt 10

This seemed like a great game a few weeks ago when the Yellow Jackets were undefeated. Two losses and slipping past Boston College, which has one win, makes it seem like Georgia Tech has lost its way and now runs into the Dawgs. Expect a win for the road team. This is a great job by Brent Venables with the Sooners. He has them at 9-2 and they handled a handful of ranked teams. LSU is too busy sorting out Brian Kelly's departure and hoping Lane Kiffin decides to move to Baton Rouge. The game kicks at 12:30 ET on Nov. 29. Wonder if Ole Miss coach will make his announcement earlier in the day.
