College football hits the final week of the regular season with huge conference games on tap. It is rivalry weekend, and expect plenty of intense, emotional contests. At stake in just about every league are spots in their respective championship games. What foes do those schools that reside in the AP Top 25 face? At the top of the list, of course, is No. 1 Ohio State trying to end a four-game losing streak against 15th-ranked Michigan in a Big Ten classic.
No. 25 SMU at California
SMU needs to beware being overconfident here. Cal is the team that sent Louisville on its downward spiral with a victory in Kentucky. Then again, the Mustings just destroyed the same Cardinals team, 38-6. Prediction: SMU 31, Cal 23

Pitt comes in here a winner of six of its last seven with the lone loss being to Notre Dame. Miami isn't the force it was early in the season but the Hurricanes have won three in a row. The loss to the Fighting Irish makes it seem Pitt is quite vulnerable to another defeat. Prediction: Miami 24, Pitt 10
No. 4 Georgia at No. 23 Georgia Tech
This seemed like a great game a few weeks ago when the Yellow Jackets were undefeated. Two losses and slipping past Boston College, which has one win, makes it seem like Georgia Tech has lost its way and now runs into the Dawgs. Expect a win for the road team. Prediction: Georgia 28, Georgia Tech 17

This is a mismatch as the Green Wave catches a 1-10 49ers team. There is a chance Tulane could be the Group of Five team when it comes to the CFP so it definitely wants to put a beating on Charlotte. Prediction: Tulane 48, Charlotte 3
Temple at No. 21 North Texas
North Texas has won five in a row. Temple has lost three straight, including its most recent to Tulane by 24 points. Expect the Mean Green to be extremely mean to the Owls from Philadelphia. Prediction: North Texas 37, Temple 3
No. 20 James Madison at Coastal Carolina
The Chanticleers have lost two in a row but both of those games were on the road. The Dukes look for their 11th win and an 8-0 mark in the Sun Belt. This could be tricky. Prediction: James Madison 31, Coast Carolina 30

UCLA's three-game winning streak ended with another thud of losses. This is going to be at the LA Coliseum and USC is smarting after a loss to Oregon that ended its hopes for a CFP bid. The Bruins have given up 96 points over their last two games. Make it three in a row of allowing 48. Prediction: USC 48, UCLA 13
No. 12 Vanderbilt at No. 18 Tennessee
Long gone are the days when Vandy was a pushover for Tennessee. The Commodores have a slightly better record than the Vols and would love to finish the regular season that way. Prediction: Tennesse 27, Vanderbilt 24
Virginia Tech at No. 17 Virginia
It is this simple for Virginia: Win and the Cavs are in the ACC Championship Game. They are strong favorites to make it happen and should do exactly that. A sweet season in Charlottesville. Prediction: Virginia 30, Virginia Tech 17

The game between arch-rivals with everything on the line for A&M. An undefeated season, a spot in the SEC Championship Game and bragging rights. Texas has the home field and Arch Manning is coming off a tremendous game. Expect this one to be off the charts with intensity. Prediction: Texas A&M 24, Texas 23
No. 1 Ohio State at No. 15 Michigan
Look for this to have a lot of bad feelings on the field. Michigan goes for its fifth straight against the Buckeyes and the game is in the Big House. Upset special! Prediction: Michigan 23, Ohio State 20
No. 14 Utah at Kansas
The Utes are barely alive in the race for a championship game spot in the Big 12. That won't likely occur but the win here gives them a 10-win season. Prediction: Utah 35, Kansas 21

BYU needs to beat UCF to earn a spot in the Big 12 Championship Game. If it does, there is every likelihood it would mean a chance to get revenge on Texas Tech for its only loss of the regular season. Prediction: BYU 27, UCF 13
No. 10 Alabama at Auburn
The Iron Bowl has Alabama looking for a 10-win season and much better goals, like possibly ending up in the SEC title game and heading to the CFP with tons of momentum. All Auburn is playing for is state pride and a 6-6 record. The Tide, um, rolls. Prediction: Alabama 30, Auburn 20
No. 9 Notre Dame at Stanford
The cushy ACC schedule and march to the CFP berth continues for the Fighting Irish against the Cardinal. Stanford has lost three of four but made its season by beating ACC rival Cal. ACC rival? Prediction: Notre Dame 56, Stanford 14

This is a great job by Brent Venables with the Sooners. He has them at 9-2 and they handled a handful of ranked teams. LSU is too busy sorting out Brian Kelly's departure and hoping Lane Kiffin decides to move to Baton Rouge. The game kicks at 12:30 ET on Nov. 29. Wonder if Ole Miss coach will make his announcement earlier in the day.
No. 7 Texas Tech at West Virginia
No one -- repeat no one -- wants to get in the path of this Red Raiders team. It goes for its fifth win in a row. Texas Tech has scored 469 points while allowing 135. Should be a big factor in the playoffs. Prediction: Texas Tech 37, West Virginia 6

The Egg Bowl with Lane Kffin's decision looming over the Rebels. The Bulldogs were once 4-0 and then the SEC schedule set in and now they are 5-6. They would love to upend Ole Miss. Doesn't feel likely. Prediction: Ole Miss 24, Mississippi State 20
No. 5 Oregon at Washington
The Huskies are 8-3 with their lone home loss coming to Ohio State. They should hassle the Ducks big time here and can come way with the mild upset. Prediction: Washington 30, Oregon 28
No. 2 Indiana at Purdue
This is one rivalry game that is a complete mismatch. The best the Boilermakers offer won't come close to making this a game. Prediction: Indiana 47, Purdue 6
