The Arizona Cardinals, for second consecutive week, suffered a blowout loss to an NFC West rival, allowing more than 40 points. They lost 41-22 on Sunday at State Farm Stadium to the San Francisco 49ers.
49ers quarterback Brock Purdy threw three touchdown passes in his first game since Week 4, and running back Christian McCaffrey had 121 total yards of offense and scored three times.
AdvertisementAdvertisementAdvertisementThe Cardinals had big games from quarterback Jacoby Brissett, receiver Michael Wilson and tight end Trey McBride. Brissett had 452 passing yards and two touchdown passes. He set an NFL record with 47 pass completions, but he also threw two interceptions, his second consecutive game with two turnovers. Wilson had 15 receptions for 185 yards and McBride caught 10 passes for 115 yards.
