Gotham then defeated 2024 champs the Orlando Pride in the semifinals to secure a spot in the Championship match. Gotham will face the Washington Spirit in the final. The final could also be Trinity Rodman's last game with the team, the Spirit's star player has been entertaining offers from Europe's Women’s Super League for next year.
