PlayStation Plus has revealed its free monthly games for December 2025. As usual, the service announces the free games on its Essential Tier, but a full lineup of games on the Extra and Premium Tiers will come a bit later in the month. As 2025 comes to a close, it looks like PS Plus is ending its year with some great offerings.

As officially announced by PlayStation Blog, December's free games for the Essential Tier of its PS Plus Games Catalog are LEGO Horizon Adventures, Killing Floor 3, The Outlast Trials, Synduality Echo of Ada, and Neon White. Because of the holiday season, there are more free games up for grabs that usual.

Neon White is a first-person action game with a great anime aesthetic. The Killing Room 3 is a first-person horror franchise with "gut-punching" combat. You can keep the terror going with The Outlast Trials, a psychological survival horror game that you can play alone or with up to three other players online. Synduality Echo of Ada is a futuristic and dystopian game that lets players take on the role of a Drifter who must collect AO Crystals in order to try and save humankind.

Having this many extra games is great, and it comes after the original news that Skate Story will be a day-one release on December 8th. In addition to the games listed above, LEGO Horizon Adventures is also an Essential game this month, and is one that many PlayStation (and LEGO) fans will want to download ASAP.

LEGO Horizon Adventures Leads The Pack On PS5

The biggest get is arguable LEGO Horizons Adventures, which also gets top-billing. The PS5 game puts the iconic LEGO spin on one of PlayStation's best exclusive franchises. It includes multiplayer options as you join Aloy to save Earth and hunt down massive machines. Playable characters like Varl, Teersa, and Erend can join and use their unique skills to defeat enemies, solve puzzles, and access collectibles.

Overall, the PS Plus Essential games being offered this month are pretty solid. Given the winter season and upcoming holidays, it should give subscribers plenty of time to check them out. And if you're not a member already, there are discounts during Black Friday to watch out for. These new games will be free to members of PlayStation Plus beginning on December 2, 2025.
