The New England Patriots dodged a near-catastrophic situation with both offensive tackle Will Campbell and guard Jared Wilson going down with injuries in their Week 12 win over the Cincinnati Bengals.
Both were carted off to the locker room with injuries that looked significant at first glance. However, it was later revealed that both are expected to return at some point this season.

According to The Athletic's Dianna Russini, Campbell is expected to miss at least four weeks, making him a candidate for injured reserve. Meanwhile, Wilson could return from his injury much sooner.

"New England Patriots rookie left tackle Will Campbell is expected to miss at least four weeks with a knee injury and will most likely land on injured reserve. But rookie left guard Jared Wilson (ankle) has received better news and could be back much sooner."
Not having Campbell and Wilson on the field for any extended period is a significant loss for the Patriots. The two rookies brought stability the likes of which the team hasn't seen in years along the offensive front.
