Oregon, Michigan and Miami were among the risers in the latest edition of the College Football Playoff rankings, the selection committee announced.

Nov. 26 (UPI) -- Oregon, Michigan and Miami were among the risers in the latest edition of the College Football Playoff rankings, the selection committee announced.

The Top 5 of the fourth rankings, released Tuesday, remain unchanged -- the No. 1 Ohio State Buckeyes (11-0), No. 2 Indiana Hoosiers (11-0), No. 3 Texas A&M Aggies (11-0), No. 4 Georgia Bulldogs (10-1) and No. 5 Texas Tech Red Raiders (10-1).

The Buckeyes trounced Rutgers to remain undefeated. The Hoosiers were inactive. The Aggies crushed Samford 48-0 to remain the only other undefeated team in the rankings. The Bulldogs bludgeoned Charlotte, while the Red Raiders were inactive.

The No. 6 Oregon Ducks (10-1), who beat the USC Trojans, swapped spots with the No. 7 Ole Miss Rebels (10-1), who were inactive. The loss dropped the Trojans (8-3) from No. 15 to 17.

The No. 8 Oklahoma Sooners (8-2), No. 9 Notre Dame Fighting Irish (8-2), No. 10 Alabama Crimson Tide (8-2) and No. 11 BYU Cougars (9-1) held onto their spots in the rankings.

The No. 12 Miami Hurricanes (9-2), who beat Virginia Tech, swapped spots with the No. 13 Utah Utes (9-2), who edged Kansas State 51-47.

The No. 14 Vanderbilt Commodores (9-2) held onto their ranking. The Michigan Wolverines (9-2), who beat Maryland 45-20 for their fifth-consecutive win, climbed from No. 18 to 15.

The Texas Longhorns (8-3) used a 52-37 win over Arkansas, and losses by USC and the Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets (9-2) to climb from No. 17 to 16. The Virginia Cavaliers (9-2), who were inactive, moved up one spot to No. 18. The Tennessee Volunteers used a 31-11 win over Florida to rise from No. 20 to 19.

The Illinois Fighting Illini (7-4), Missouri Tigers (7-4) and Houston Cougars (8-3), who were Nos. 21, 22 and 23 in last week's rankings, each sustained losses and dropped from the Top 25.

The Arizona State Sun Devils (8-3) used those losses and a win over Colorado to jump from No. 25 to 20. The No. 21 SMU Mustangs (8-3) crushed Louisville to enter the rankings for the first time this season. The No. 22 Pittsburgh Panthers (8-3) and No. 25 Arizona Wildcats (8-3) also joined the rankings.

The Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets (9-2), who lost to Pittsburgh, dropped from No. 16 to 23. The Tulane Green Wave (9-2) used a 37-13 win over Temple to hold their No. 24 ranking.

The college football rivalry week schedule features several matchups between ranked teams. The No. 4 Bulldogs will battle the No. 23 Yellow Jackets at 3:30 p.m. EST Friday in Atlanta. The No. 3 Aggies will meet the No. 16 Longhorns at 7:30 p.m. Friday in Austin. Friday's slate also includes a meeting between No. 20 Arizona State and No. 25 Arizona at 9 p.m. in Tempe, Ariz.

The No. 1 Buckeyes will battle the No. 15 Wolverines in the latest edition of that rivalry at noon Saturday in Ann Arbor, Mich. No. 12 Miami will take on No. 22 Pittsburgh at the same time in Pittsburgh.

No. 19 Tennessee will host No. 14 Vanderbilt at 3:30 p.m. Saturday in Knoxville.

The fifth edition of the College Football Playoff rankings will be released at 7 p.m. Tuesday on ESPN. Selection day will air at noon Dec. 7 on the same network.

The College Football Playoff schedule will be held from Dec. 31 through Jan. 19.
