A Chelsea player has said that his national team mate had ‘a poor match against Chelsea’ this week in the Champions League.
The Blues are celebrating after thrashing Barcelona 3-0 at home in the UCL last night and to be honest, they found the game very easy to win even before the red card to Barca captain Ronald Araujo.

Everyone has been waxing lyrical about Chelsea’s new rising star, Estevao Willian. Former Blues player Pat Nevin was all over him with his comments after watching Estevao tear it up against Barcelona.
Former Arsenal star Thierry Henry has urged Enzo Maresca to let Estevao cook and let him play in some comments he made after the game in the post match analysis.
But this game was supposed to be all about the battle between rising young starlets, Estevao and Lamine Yamal of Barcelona. The aforementioned completely outshone Yamal, who was very much non-existent for the entire game and just looked awful in all honesty.

Robert Sanchez, who also plays in the Spanish national side along with Yamal, has not held back in his criticism of the youngster after the game.
As cited on X, the Chelsea stopper said:
“Yamal had a poor match against Chelsea. His football was unrecognisable, with hardly any dribbling, and every time he tried, he met the same fate: Marc Cucurella’s body.”
Wow!
Feels a bit harsh really from Sanchez, especially as it’s his Spain team mate and a very young player. But at the same time, he’s not wrong with his review of Yamal here and to be honest, I’m pretty sure that Cucurella still has Yamal in his pocket and has not let him out!
Would like to be a fly on the wall in the dressing room for the next Spain match!
