The New York Giants bolstered their secondary depth on Tuesday, signing rookie cornerback Myles Purchase to their practice squad, addressing injuries to key players like Paulson Adebo and Deonte Banks.
Purchase, a 23-year-old Denver native, joins the Giants after a whirlwind start to his pro career. A three-star recruit from Cherry Creek High School, he starred at Iowa State from 2021-2024, appearing in 52 games with 145 total tackles, 11.5 tackles for loss, one sack, 26 passes defensed, one interception, and one forced fumble.

Undrafted in 2025, Purchase signed with the Los Angeles Chargers as a rookie free agent but bounced between their roster and practice squad before his release on November 4.
The 5-foot-11, 205-pound Purchase could see a late-season elevation if the Giants don't return to health at cornerback.
