Netflix's live-action One Piece has cast two major villains for season 3. The update comes only one day after Netflix announced that season 3 filming had begun in Cape Town, South Africa. One Piece season 2 premieres on March 10, 2026, but season 3 was confirmed to have been renewed as of August 2025.

Awdo Awdo has now been cast as Mr. 1 and Daisy Head will play Miss Doublefinger in season 3. Both characters are part of the criminal organization known as the Baroque Works. They play important roles in the Alabasta Arc from the anime series, which season 3 will adapt. Check out a side-by-side comparison of the actors and their anime depictions below:

Ahead of the Alabasta Arc, several actors from One Piece's cast have been promoted to series regulars due to their expanded roles in season 3, including Mikaela Hoover as Chopper, Joe Manganiello as Mr. 0, Lera Abova as Miss All Sunday, and Sendhil Ramamurthy as Nefartari Cobra.

As for the new actors' previous credits, One Piece is not Head's first major Netflix show, as she previously played Genya Safin in seasons 1 and 2 of the fantasy series Shadow and Bone. She also played Sofina, a Red Wizard of Thay, in the 2023 film Dungeons and Dragons: Honor Among Thieves and portrayed Judy Talbot in a season 1 episode of Netflix's The Sandman.

Awdo's only movie or TV credit is the 2024 short film Under Siege, but he already had multiple projects in the works before his One Piece casting. Since the leader of the Baroque Works is Mr. 0, played by Mangianello, Awdo and Head will share many scenes with the True Blood actor.

Along with the new series regulars, Awdo and Head join a cast that includes returning members of the Straw Hats crew, consisting of Iñaki Godoy as Monkey D. Luffy, Mackenyu as Zoro, Emily Rudd as Nami, Jacob Romero as Usopp, and Taz Skylar as Sanji. Season 3 will also feature Charithra Chandran as Miss Wednesday.

It remains to be seen if Netflix can adapt all of One Piece given the long-running nature of the anime series and the nearly three-year hiatus between seasons 1 and 2. By casting key characters like Mr. 1 and Miss Doublefinger and beginning filming months before season 2's debut, though, there is a clear effort to ensure a shorter hiatus between seasons and to increase the speed at which new installments are being released.

I'm concerned about red pandas fate. These TV series effect the reality. She used to be the front door of my house. Usually a raccoon this one a 12 gau.

Sounds dumb would you like to know more@starship.

It is not permissible for me to make more starship troopers. Rich pastiche.
