The Green Bay Packers' second injury report of Week 13 featured one only change, but it was a positive one for Matt LaFleur's team ahead of Thursday's holiday showdown with the Detroit Lions.

Cornerback Keisean Nixon, who suffered a stinger injury in his neck on Sunday, was upgraded to a limited participant on Tuesday. The Packers held a walkthrough on Tuesday, but Nixon's improvement is notable considering Quay Walker -- who also had a stinger last week -- didn't practice at all before missing Sunday's win. Nixon appears to be recovering and could be trending towards playing on Thursday.

The three players who did not participate for a second consecutive day were defensive lineman Karl Brooks, defensive end Lukas Van Ness and wide receiver Savion Williams. Brooks played only four snaps against the Vikings, while Van Ness was on the field for just six snaps in his return from a five-game absence. If Brooks and Van Ness are out or limited, the Packers could be shorthanded up front on defense on Thursday.

Participation report -- Tuesday walkthrough

  • Did not participate: DL Karl Brooks (ankle), DL Lukas Van Ness (foot), WR/KR Savion Williams (foot)

  • Limited participation: CB Javon Bullard (ankle), LB Edgerrin Cooper (foot/shoulder), WR Matthew Golden (wrist), CB Nate Hobbs (knee), RB Josh Jacobs (knee), CB Keisean Nixon (neck), WR Jayden Reed (foot/shoulder), RT Zach Tom (back), LB Quay Walker (neck), WR Dontayvion Wicks (calf)

  • Full participation: WR Romeo Doubs (wrist), QB Jordan Love (shoulder), WR Christian Watson (knee)

The Lions made two changes to their injury report: defensive back Brian Branch was a full participant on Tuesday, while defensive end Josh Paschal did not practice because of a back injury. Paschall has been designated for return from injured reserve.

Coach Dan Campbell confirmed safety Kerby Joseph will not play on Thursday while recovering from a knee injury.
