Week 12 brought chaos, breakout games, and one of the wildest quarterback storylines we’ve seen in years. While some prices are correcting and others are exploding overnight, this week is full of windows, for quick flips, sneaky buys, and long-term stash opportunities.

The Headliner

Shedeur Sanders – Cleveland Browns

2023 Bowman University 1st Bowman Refractor PSA 10: $34 → ~$70

There’s one NFL storyline dominating everything right now: Shedeur Sanders. He’s officially the Browns’ QB1, and the hobby is reacting like it’s been waiting for this moment.

Sanders completed 11 of 20 passes (55 percent) for 209 yards, one touchdown, and one interception against the Raiders. Not perfect, but enough to ignite the hype machine. If you’ve been collecting Shedeur since Bowman Chrome University — or if you’ve been holding onto autographed tortillas — this is your moment.

Selling this week is the safe play.

But if you like to live dangerously, another win this weekend against the 49ers could send things into full-on Shedeur-mania. His 1st Bowman Refractor PSA 10 has already doubled this week; another strong showing, and all bets are off.

Cult Hero

Jameis Winston – New York Giants

2015 Prizm Silver Rookie PSA 10: < $100 preseason → rising

The legend of Jameis Winston continues to grow.

The journeyman quarterback has developed a near cult-like following over the past few years — and he added another chapter by leading all quarterbacks in fantasy points last week after stepping in for Jaxson Dart on short notice. He also caught a 33 yard touchdown pass and followed it up with an insanely cool celebration. 

One of the best things about collecting Jameis is that there’s always a market. He’s such a likable figure that people genuinely want to see him win. His low-pop 2015 Prizm Silver Rookie PSA 10s were selling for under $100 preseason. If you can find one anywhere close to that number, he’s a long-term relevance play and one of the safest “fun” PC investments in the hobby.

The Explosive RB

Jahmyr Gibbs – Detroit Lions

Prizm Silver Rookie PSA 10: $106 → ~$125

Do yourself a favor and watch the highlights from his last game — and then try to convince yourself he doesn’t have a the brightest future of any young RB in the game. 

Gibbs had an absurd outing: • 15 carries for 219 yards and 2 TDs • 11 catches on 12 targets for 45 yards and another TD

A monster performance… and yet his price barely moved. His preseason Prizm Silver PSA 10 sat at $106; it’s now around ~$125. Higher, yes, but not remotely reflective of how good he looks.

RBs are always a riskier investment than QBs and WRs, but if the price is right, Gibbs still has plenty of room to run. For comparison, Christian McCaffrey’s Prizm Silver PSA 10 is sitting around ~$150. Gibbs doesn’t need much to get there.

QB Sneak 

Trevor Lawrence –  Jacksonville Jaguars

Prizm Silver Rookie PSA 10: $750 → <$400

You know who is quietly having a pretty decent season? Trevor Lawrence. Not elite, not bad — just solid. And the hobby has absolutely overcorrected.

His Prizm Silver Rookie PSA 10 (pop 136) was selling for $750 preseason and over $1,000 last year. This month? Two separate copies sold for under $400 on Fanatics Collect.

At that number, it’s a snap buy.

A former first overall pick, playing respectable football, with a flagship rookie that has proven demand — this is exactly the kind of dip collectors dream about. It’ll be interesting to see how those comps shape the market, but right now? It’s anyone’s game. 

Under-the-Radar RB

James Cook – Buffalo Bills

Prizm Silver Rookie PSA 10: $41 → ~$60 (with a recent high of $150)

James Cook is having a fantastic season and currently ranks 6th among all RBs in fantasy points.

His preseason Prizm Rookie PSA 10 price was just $41. He’s now around ~$60, with at least one comp hitting $150.

At the $60 price level, he’s a sneaky buy-and-hold for a Bills team with real Super Bowl aspirations. If Buffalo makes a run, Cook will be front and center, and so will his market.

Catch Them Sleeping

Jonathan Taylor – Indianapolis Colts

Prizm Silver Rookie PSA 10: $76 → ~$190

Taylor has had two uncharacteristically awful performances in his last three games, and with a bye week mixed in, this is the perfect time to catch a few “below average” listings in a market that’s otherwise been skyrocketing.

His Prizm Silver PSA 10 started at $76 preseason and has pushed to ~$190. A rough stretch from a star RB is often the perfect buy window, and this feels exactly like that. Keep an eye out this week; you might catch some auctions people are sleeping on. 

Week 12 gave us QB chaos, RB explosions, and a handful of hobby markets finally correcting into buy territory. Whether you’re flipping the hype (Shedeur) or using the dip to your advantage (Lawrence, Taylor), this week has opportunities across every price point.
