The Bucs have to turn the ship around sooner rather than later. The team is now 6-5 after starting the year at 5-1 and reaching the top of the NFL and power rankings alike. However, this team has fallen off, and they now face a tough Cardinals team that is better than their record would lead you to believe.

The question of whether the team will be able to turn things around was discussed on ESPN this week. Their staff went through each game and answered questions for each, and the Bucs they answered that question and painted a rather optimistic picture.

They write, "Hope was deflated early as the Rams jumped out to a quick 21-0 lead, and the 31-7 halftime deficit was the Bucs' largest since 2022 at the 49ers (28-0). Things should get easier with the Cardinals (3-8) and Saints (2-9) up next, but the big question will be around Baker Mayfield's health after he didn't play in the second half because of a shoulder injury."

The biggest issue that they don't talk about in depth is that the final three games of the Bucs have them facing the Carolina Panthers twice. The division could very easily come down to Week 18 when the Bucs face a resilient Panthers squad with a chip on their shoulder.

There is a lot on the table for this team and the coaching staff, and it will all come down to what they achieve over these final weeks.
