The Michigan Wolverines blew out San Diego State, 94-54, on Monday night to start off the Players Era Festival on a major high note. Next up — a revenge game against the Auburn Tigers, the team that knocked Dusty May and the Wolverines out of the NCAA Tournament in the Sweet Sixteen a season ago.

The oddsmakers at DraftKings Sportsbook believe Michigan has a decent chance of getting revenge, as the betting experts have the Wolverines as a 3.5-point favorite against Auburn, with the over/under set at 159.5.

Auburn beat Oregon, 84-73, on Monday in Las Vegas to improve to 5-1 on the season. Auburn is led by first-year head coach Steven Pearl and senior forward Keyshawn Hall, who is averaging a whopping 22.2 points per game and 10.0 rebounds per game early in the season. He went for 20 and 11 against Houston last week, and is coming off an 18-point effort against the Ducks yesterday.

Another Auburn player to watch out for is guard Tahaad Pettiford, who is putting up 13.0 points per game so far in 2025-26. If that name is familiar, that’s because he put up 20 points against the Wolverines in the Sweet Sixteen last year. The Wolverines will very likely make him a focal point of the defensive game plan, despite him shooting just 33.3 percent from the field and 19.5 percent from beyond the arc so far this season.
